摘要

Abstract

A novel adsorbent PMB(organomagnetic modified bentonite)was prepared from bentonite as raw material using FeCl2·4H2O and FeCl3·6H2O as magnetic modifiers and polyethylene imine as organic modifier for adsorption of nanoplastics in water.The results show that SEM(scanning electron microscopy)analysis,FT-IR(Fourier transform infrared)spectroscopy,XRD(X-ray diffractometer),Zeta potential,and XPS(X-ray spectroscopy)characterisation indicate significant electrostatic attraction and surface complexation between PMB and PS-NPs(polystyrene nanoplastics).Magnetic analysis shows that the adsorbent has excellent superparamagnetism and meets the requirement of magnetic separation.The adsorption process of PS-NPs on PMB conforms to the proposed second-order kinetic equation and Sips isothermal adsorption model,and chemisorption dominates the adsorption process.A new method is provided for the adsorption of nanoplastics in water.
