Abstract
The removal mechanism of coexisting heavy metals Cu,Zn and Cd in acid industrial wastewater was investigated by using dithiophosphate as heavy metal capturing agent.Structural characterization of capturing agent and its chelate using FT-IR and XPS was employed to reveal the active group—P(=S)S—in dithiophosphate and its coordination mechanism with heavy metals.By constructing coexisting metal system,the deposition sequence of heavy metals was obtained as follows:Cu2+>Cd2+>Zn2+.The valence bond theory and Lewis acid-base theory were used to analyze the mechanism from the aspects of complex orbital type,electron acceptance ability and hard-soft-acid-base.Besides,because of the adsorption electrostatic neutralization of negative chelate on metal ions and the enlarged multi-metal chelates,the precipitation performance was improved,resulting in better removal of coexisting heavy metals than single metal system.Mechanism research reveals the interaction patterns between dithiophosphate and coexisting heavy metals,providing an important theoretical basis for the further applications.关键词
