Progress on the Application of Thermosensitive in situ Gel in Various Administration Routes

Abstract
Thermosensitive in situ gel is a hydrogel with a three-dimensional network structure that undergoes phase transitions in response to the change of temperature or stimuli in external environment.Drug delivery systems based on thermosensitive in situ gels enable intelligent drug loading as well as site-specific,timed,and quantifiable controlled release,demonstrating significant application potential and research value.This article reviewed the common preparation materials,drug release mechanisms,and characteristics of thermosensitive in situ gels,with a focus on their applications across multiple administration routes,including intranasal,vaginal,periodontal,intratumoral injection,intra-articular injection,and ocular administration.关键词
