Abstract
Ephedra,Forsythia,and Red Bean Decoction originates from the Treatise on Cold Damage and was originally used to treat jaundice caused by the interior retention of dampness-heat of damp-heat.Professor Qi Wensheng has extensively applied this formula in clinical practice,leveraging its effects of treating both exterior and interior conditions while clearing heat and promoting diuresis.It has resulted in significant efficacy for various ailments such as shortness of breath,acne,and skin itching.This study preliminarily summarized Professor Qi Wensheng's experience in using Ephedra,Forsythia,and Red Bean Decoction based on case studies,focusing on etiology,pathogenesis,and formula analysis,thereby embodying the principle of treating different diseases simultaneously.关键词
