摘要
Abstract
To address the dilemma of"high investment not necessarily leading to high innovation"in new-type R&D institutions, this study integrates the knowledge-based view, dynamic capabilities theory, and the perspective of digital empowerment.Using a sample of 445 new-type R&D institutions in the Yangtze River Delta region and employing the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method,it consolidates three key dimensions of knowledge network embedding, organizational resilience, and the degree of digitalization,to investigate the complex synergistic mechanism driving their ambidextrous innovation performance. The results show that:multiple equivalent paths exist for achieving both high exploratory and high exploitative innovation performance, demonstrating the characteristic of"different paths, same destination"with no single optimal solution;the degree of digitalization plays a core enabling role in most paths, but its effectiveness highly depends on its fit with other conditions;the dimensions of organizational resilience have distinct effects, with transformative capacity exhibiting a significant double-edged sword effect, that is,its absence in some paths is actually conducive to enhancing innovation performance.Science and technology management departments of the government should focus on building a categorized and precise policy support system, classifying new-type R&D institutions based on different configurational paths for targeted assistance.Meanwhile,new-type R&D institutions should place digital transformation at the core of their strategy and select appropriate development models.关键词
