摘要

Abstract

To explore an efficient and high-quality degumming process for ramie,H2O2/PAG oxidation system were selected for ramie pretreatment.The process parameters were optimized via single-factor analysis combined with response surface methodology,the effects of mass concentrations of hydrogen peroxide,sodium hydroxide,PAG,and reaction temperature on degumming efficiency were investigated.Meanwhile,SEM,FTIR and XRD were used to characterize the microstructure,chemical composition and crystallinity of fibers before and after degumming.Finally,H2O2/PAG oxidation degumming process and the traditional alkali degumming process were compared.The results showed that the optimal process conditions for the H2O2/PAG oxidation system were as follows:7.86 g/L H2O2,1.43 g/L sodium hydroxide,1.87 g/L PAG,and reaction temperature of 61.8℃.SEM analysis revealed that the degummed fibers had smooth surface,appeared as single fibers and most gums were removed.FTIR analysis indicated that the characteristic peaks of gums such as pectin,lignin and hemicellulose were significantly weakened after degumming.XRD analysis showed that the crystallinity of the fibers were increased after degumming.Compared with traditional alkali degumming,the reaction time of H2O2/PAG oxidation degumming was reduced by 40%,with slightly higher residual gum content in fibers but superior work of rupture.It is considered that the H2O2/PAG oxidation system provides an efficient and feasible new method for ramie degumming.
