Exploration and Practice of Curriculum Ideology and Politics in Molecular Biology in Engineering Universities

Abstract
The cultivation of a diverse talent pool constitutes a fundamental objective of course-based ideologi-cal education,as well as a critical responsibility entrusted to university educators in the contemporary era,and a strategic necessity for achieving national rejuvenation.Embedding ideological and political elements within profes-sional courses serves as a pivotal pedagogical approach to developing interdisciplinary talents who possess an inter-national outlook,capacity for innovation,and social accountability.Current practices in embedding ideological educa-tion into engineering courses are hampered by three persistent problems:a rigid approach to content integration,mo-notonous teaching methods,and challenges in assessing the educational impact.These shortcomings can be traced to three root causes:deficits in teachers'pedagogical transformation skills,students'low awareness of the ideological curriculum,and a lack of a school-based evaluation framework.To address these challenges,this paper adopts the Molecular Biology course as a demonstrative case.Grounded in contemporary educational principles,it constructs a diversified implementation framework and develops specific teaching cases for integrating ideological education into the curriculum.关键词
