摘要

Abstract

There is a substantial amount of by-product gas generated in steel industry.Efficiently converting this by-product gas into high-grade electricity through waste heat utilization units is of great significance for achieving the"dual carbon"goals.The technical features of a subcritical reheat condensing steam turbine used for waste heat utilization in steel plants were presented,and the N100-16.7/566/562 turbine manufactured by Shanghai Turbine Plant was selected for thermodynamic performance test.Based on the design and operation parameters of the unit,the characteristics of the single-cylinder reheat steam turbine in practical operation were analyzed.Furthermore,optimization suggestions for the economical operation of this type of unit were proposed based on the performance test results.The research findings can provide reference for the efficient utilization of by-product gas in steel plants.
