摘要

Abstract

A 100 MW subcritical single-cylinder downward-exhaust condensing steam turbine in a steel plant encountered a shaft seizure fault during start-up and shut-down.Through detailed sorting and analysis of data before and after the fault,the fault type was accurately diagnosed as dynamic-static jamming,and its primary cause was the abnormal pressure drop in the shaft seal steam supply header,thereby,the cold air and cold steam flowed reversely into the high-temperature area.Based on this,a series of targeted solutions were proposed,including blanking the cylinder continuously,optimizing the commissioning process of the shaft seal steam supply system and adjusting the water spray logic of exhaust cylinder.These measures successfully restored the unit to normal state,and no similar fault occurred since then.The research results can provide reference for the trial operation and commissioning of new units of the same type.
