"项九针"针刺法治疗中风后眩晕的临床疗效观察
Clinical efficacy observation of"Xiangjiu needle"acupuncture method in the treatment of post-stroke vertigo

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the"Xiangjiu needle"acupuncture method combined with betahistine mesilate tablets in treating post-stroke vertigo.Methods:A total of 78 patients with post-stroke vertigo were randomly divided into a treatment group(39 cases)and a control group(39 cases)using the random number method.Pa-tients in the control group were treated with oral betahistine mesilate tablets,while patients in the treatment group received a combination of betahistine mesilate tablets and the"Xiangjiu needle"acupuncture.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate,Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)score,time to disappearance of vertigo symptoms,Barthel Index(BI)score,and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group.After treatment,both groups showed signifi-cant improvements in the time to disappearance of vertigo symptoms and DHI scores compared to before treatment,with a significant increase in BI scores and a significant decrease in TCM syndrome scores for vertigo.All differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the treatment group demonstrated more pronounced improve-ments in the aforementioned indicators(P<0.05).Conclusion:The"Xiangjiu needle"acupuncture,as the primary acu-puncture treatment,exhibits definite efficacy in treating post-stroke vertigo compared to conventional drug therapy alone.It can achieve favorable clinical outcomes and provides a new approach and method for the diagnosis and treatment of post-stroke vertigo.关键词
