通天穴针刺治疗新型冠状病毒感染、支原体肺炎后嗅觉障碍的理论基础及机制探讨
Theoretical Basis and Mechanism Exploration of Tongtian Point Acupuncture in Treating Olfactory Dysfunction after COVID-19 and Mycoplasma Pneumonia

Abstract
After the outbreak of novel coronavirus infection and mycoplasma pneumonia,an increasing number of people have suffered from olfactory disorders,which seriously affect their quality of life.Simple daily activities such as smelling delicious food and flowers have become a mental torture for them.Western medicine currently has no obvious effective treatment for this disease,while acupuncture has better therapeutic effects and lower adverse reactions.Based on clinical practice,it has been found that ac-upuncture at the Tongtian point has a significant effect on treating olfactory disorders.Although it is clinically effective and has theoretical origins,the modern mechanism of action of acupuncture at the Tongtian point for treating olfactory disorders is still un-clear,which has become a bottleneck restricting its wide application and in-depth research.Does it take effect merely by regula-ting nasal blood flow and nerves through local stimulation,or by regulating the function of the central nervous system(such as the olfactory cortex)?Is its effect related to regulating specific neurotransmitters or neurotrophic factors?There are still many gaps in related research both at home and abroad.Now,based on the relevant records in classic ancient books,the author analyzes the the-oretical basis of acupuncture at the Tongtian point for treating olfactory disorders in traditional Chinese medicine and conducts in-depth discussions and research on its mechanism of action,providing new ideas for the treatment plan of acupuncture at the Tongtian point for olfactory disorders,and pointing out the gaps in the current research on olfactory disorders in traditional Chinese medicine,providing a theoretical basis for subsequent clinical treatment and high-quality clinical randomized controlled trials and in-depth mechanism research.关键词
