Effects of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae and different Chinese medicinals in compatibility on Tanshinone ⅡA and its efficacy in the treatment of cerebral ischemia injury

Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Radix Astragali,Flos Carthami Tinctorii and Lumbricus in compatibility on Tanshinone ⅡA and their efficacy of anti-cerebral ischemic injury,and to explore the significance of compatibility in Chinese herbal medicine(CHM).Methods With Tanshinone ⅡA as the indicator,after optimizing the extraction process of Radix Sal‐viae Miltiorrhizae via orthogonal design,the effects of different dose ratios of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae combined with Radix Astragali,Flos Carthami Tinctorii and Lumbricus on Tanshinone ⅡA were observed.A rat cerebral ischemia model was established,and neurologi‐cal function,cerebral infarction volume,brain water content,and brain tissue superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity were detected to assess the compatibility's efficacy against cerebral ischemia injury.Results The compatibility of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae with differ‐ent proportions of Flos Carthami Tinctorii was obviously effective in the dissolution of Tanshinone ⅡA,while the compatibility with Radix Astragali was not obvious,and the compatibility with Lumbricus did not promote the dissolution of it.Additionally,the compatibility effects of different doses were different as well.Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae combined with Radix Astragali,Flos Carthami Tinctorii and Lumbricus can reduce neurological deficit and cerebral infarction volume,and promote neurological recovery after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury,alleviate brain edema and improve the activity of SOD in the brain tissue(P<0.05 or P<0.01),exerting a good pro‐tective effect on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(IRI).Conclusion From the perspective of chemical composition and efficacy,this paper discusses the significance of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae and different Chinese medicinals in compatibility with distinct effica‐cies.The results can promote in-depth and systematic research on compatibility in CHM,contribute to further exploring the pharmacody‐namic material basis of its efficacy,analyze the scientific connotation of the compatibility of TCM,and also provide ideas and methods for the research of compatibility of CHM.关键词
