红嘴鸥与3种家禽IFN-α基因比较研究
Comparative Study on IFN-α Genes between Larus ridibundus and Three Domestic Poultry Species

Abstract
This study cloned the interferon-α(IFN-α)gene from Larus ridibundus and conducted a comparative analysis with IFN-α gene sequences from three domestic poultry species-chicken,duck,and goose to support future studies on the expression and functional characterization of the IFN-α pro-tein of L.ridibundusn.The full-length IFN-α gene of L.ridibundus,579 bp long,was successfully obtained using PCR amplification and sequencing.Sequence comparison revealed differences in se-quence length and similarity between L.ridibundus and the three poultry species,with L.ridibundus showing a closest phylogenetic relationship to Rissa tridactyla.Protein sequence analysis indicated that all four IFN-α proteins are hydrophobic,lack transmembrane domains,and possess signal pep-tides,glycosylation sites,and phosphorylation sites,although these functional elements are located at different amino acid positions.Subcellular localization predictions showed that all four proteins are primarily located in the nucleus,albeit with varying distribution levels.Furthermore,secondary and tertiary structure predictions suggested that α-helices are the dominant structural elements across all four IFN-α proteins,although the specific positions of these helices vary.These findings provide foun-dational data for the recombinant expression and functional investigation of L.ridibundus IFN-α pro-tein in future antiviral studies.关键词
