Abstract
The rapid proliferation of"Artificial Intelligence(AI)+"is profoundly transforming diverse industries.As a key de-terminant of national competitiveness in sustainable development and an essential condition for equitable social participation,AI lit-eracy has become a major global concern and an emerging focus of academic research.However,existing studies largely target on teachers and students in the education contexts,overlooking adult citizens who constitute the primary agents of social production and everyday life.Moreover,current frameworks of AI literacy reveal a theoretical gap between general paradigms and those required to adapt to an intelligent interconnected society.To respond to this gap,this study reviews existing concepts and component frameworks of AI literacy and clarifies the connotation and core value of AI literacy for adult citizens.AI literacy is defined as their capacity and a-gency to utilize AI to construct collaborative social networks with themselves,others,and communities,and to actively engage in social practices that enable sustainable human-machine collaborative production,service innovation,and individual self-realization.Further-more,the study establishes an AI literacy framework for adult citizens that comprises four fundamental dimensions,including meta-in-telligence,human-AI collaborative intelligence,intelligent social and emotional intelligence,and human-AI ethics and moral intelli-gence,along with eighteen constituent elements.Based on this framework,four application scenarios are proposed:(1)For all adult citi-zens:conducting evidence-based assessments of AI literacy to support the dissemination and monitoring of intelligent education;(2)For employed adults:developing general professional competency standards to promote career transformation and organizational learn-ing innovation;(3)For university students:optimizing career development and strengthening support for innovation-and entrepreneur-ship-oriented education;(4)For socially disadvantaged groups:building a ubiquitous intelligent service ecosystem to empower inclusive social development.This study provides a theoretical foundation for promoting sustainable human-machine collaboration at the societal level and offers actionable pathways for relevant policy formulation and practical implementation.关键词
