摘要

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor threatening women's health,and its malignant progression is closely asso-ciated with metabolic reprogramming.As a key epigenetic regulatory mechanism,N6-methyladenosine(m6 A)plays a central role in tumor metabolic reprogramming by dynamically regulating RNA stability and translation efficiency.This review systematically elaborates the molecular mechanisms by which m6 A methylation influences the development and progression of cervical cancer through regulating key molecules in glucose and lipid metabolism:in glucose metabolism,m6 A methyltransferases(e.g.,METTL3/14,catalyze methyl-ation),demethylases(e.g.,ALKBH5,remove methylation),and reading proteins(e.g.,YTHDF1,IGF2BP2,recognize methyla-tion sites and regulate RNA fate)target mRNA of key glycolytic enzymes such as PDK4 and HK2,regulate their stability or translation efficiency,promote aerobic glycolysis(Warburg effect),and rapidly supply energy to cancer cells.In lipid metabolism,m6 A upregu-lates SCD expression via the IGF2BP3-METTL14 complex or activates the FASN/ACC1 pathway through the YTHDF3-LRP6 axis,promoting fatty acid synthesis and lipid droplet accumulation,which may enhance the proliferation,metastasis,and chemotherapy resistance potential of cervical cancer cells.It is pointed out that current research on m6 A in cervical cancer metabolism mostly focuses on a single metabolic pathway,and the role of m6 A in the cross regulation of cholesterol metabolism and immune metabolism still needs further exploration.
