Research progress on the application and detection of functional components in Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra)

Abstract
Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra)is the dried root and rhizome of Panax ginseng(a plant in the Araliaceae family)after steaming.It possesses various therapeutic effects,such as vigorously tonifying yuan-primordial qi,restoring pulse and preventing collapse,and nourishing qi to control blood.As one of the precious Chinese medicinal materials,Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra)itself is rich in multiple components and undergoes a series of changes after steaming.Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra)has a long history of application and is widely used in clinical practice.The functional components of Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra),especially ginsenosides,exhibit diverse pharmacological activities.This paper reviews the research progress on the effects of functional components of Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra)in enhancing immunity,combating tumors,exerting antioxidant and anti-aging effects,and treating diabetes,as well as the research progress on their detection methods.It aims to provide theoretical references for the development of homologous products of medicine and food related to Hongshen(Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma Rubra)and the identification of the authenticity of raw materials.关键词
