Abstract

As one of the important by-products of the copper pyrometallurgical process,anode furnace dust contains valuable metal elements such as copper,lead,and zinc,necessitating its resource recovery.Currently,hydrometallurgical leaching is the mainstream method for recovering metals from copper smelting slag,particularly sulfuric acid leaching,which offers advantages such as environmental friendliness and high recovery efficiency.Using anode furnace dust as the experimental raw material,copper and zinc are efficiently recovered through a sulfuric acid leaching process under the action of an oxidant.The experiment primarily investigates the effects of oxidant dosage,sulfuric acid quantity,reaction temperature,and time on the leaching efficiency of copper and zinc.The results show that under the optimal conditions of a liquid-solid ratio of 4∶1,sulfuric acid dosage of 30 g,reaction time of 2.0 h,hydrogen peroxide dosage of 6 mL,feeding amount of 50 g,and leaching temperature of 60℃,the copper leaching rate is 98.72%and the zinc leaching rate is 99.02%.
