Study on the Separation Efficiency of Emulsified Oil from Degreasing Wastewater of Aluminum Profiles Using Air Flotation-MBR Coupled Process

Abstract

The experiment uses the air flotation-Membrane Bio-Reactor(MBR)coupled process to treat degreasing wastewater of aluminum profiles,with a focus on improving the separation efficiency of emulsified oil,and the effects of flocculant dosage and Hydraulic Retention Time(HRT)on the treatment efficiency are investigated.The results show that when the dosage of Polyaluminum Chloride(PAC)is 150 mg/L and the dosage of Polyacrylamide(PAM)is 3 mg/L,the highest removal rate of emulsified oil can reach 88.3%.With the extension of HRT from 4 h to 12 h,the removal rate of emulsified oil increases from 70.2%to 88.7%,and the removal rates of Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD)and Suspended Substance(SS)also significantly improve.This process can stabilize the pH value of wastewater,reduce the ammonia nitrogen content,and provide effective technical reference for the treatment of degreasing wastewater of aluminum profiles.
