Abstract

Platinum and palladium have good chemical stability and catalytic activity,which are often used as active components in catalysts,and are widely used in fields such as petrochemicals,environmental governance,and energy conversion.The silicon-aluminum based carrier platinum-palladium catalyst has a large specific surface area and excellent sintering resistance,maintaining good catalytic activity in high temperature and high toxicity scenarios.But as the usage time prolongs,the catalyst will be scrapped due to a large amount of carbon deposits and organic matter adhering to the surface.At present,the wet process is the main method for recovering platinum and palladium from silicon-aluminum based platinum-palladium waste catalysts,including carrier dissolution method and active component dissolution method.For silicon-aluminum based platinum-palladium waste catalysts,leaching experiments are conducted using the active component dissolution method,with a focus on investigating the effects of hydrochloric acid concentration,stirring time,and static insulation time on the platinum and palladium leaching rates.The results show that under the conditions of hydrochloric acid concentration of 6 mol/L,stirring time of 2.0 h,and static insulation time of 3.0 h,the platinum leaching rate is 99.15%and the palladium leaching rate is 99.04%.
