Abstract

Aluminum alloy profiles are widely used,but the processing will generate a large amount of aluminum slag and ash.Taking the recycling and utilization of aluminum slag and ash as the research object,samples of furnace casting slag and ash and aluminum profile oxidation treatment waste slag and ash are taken,and chemical composition analysis and phase analysis are used to determine the composition and phase structure of the slag,and the solubility of the slag and ash in the electrolyte is measured.The results show that the alumina content of casting aluminum slag and ash exceeds 80%,and the alumina content of aluminum profile oxidation treatment waste liquid slag exceeds 90%.The X-Ray Diffraction(XRD)analysis results show that the aluminum oxide in the aluminum slag and ash mainly consists of α phase,with a relatively low content of γ phase,and does not contain insoluble phase.Compared with ordinary industrial alumina,the dissolution rate of aluminum slag and ash is slower.From the perspective of resource recycling,aluminum ash can dissolve in electrolytes and will not have any adverse effects on the normal electrolysis process.
