摘要
Abstract
DiGeorge syndrome is the most common hereditary type of hypoparathyroidism. It rarely manifests in adult-hood,and there are few reports of it coexisting with Graves'disease. In this article,a 25-year-old female patient who developed hypocalcemia-related manifestations following treatment for Graves'disease was presented. The patient had no clinical symptoms of hypocalcemia prior to age 25 years, but developed hypocalcemia six months after the treatment for Graves'disease.Chromo-somal analysis revealed a large 22q11.2 deletion, confirming the diagnosis of DiGeorge syndrome. With calcium and active vita-min D supplementation, her serum calcium levels were maintained at the lower normal range.关键词
