傍刺电针法结合热敏灸治疗腰椎间盘突出症的临床研究
Clinical Study on Lateral EA Combined with Heat-Sensitive Moxibustion in Treatment of LDH

Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of lateral electro-acupuncture(EA)combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion in treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods:100 patients with LDH were randomly divided into the control group and the study group,with 50 patients in each group.The control group was treated conventional acupuncture,whereas the study group was treated with lateral EA combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion.Both groups received one treatment per day for seven consecutive days,and therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate was 96.00％(48/50)in the study group,which was significantly higher than 84.00％(42/50)in the control group(P＜0.05).Before the treatment,there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in the scores of Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA),Oswestry Disability Index(ODI),Barthel Index(BI),or TCM symptom scores(P＞0.05).After the treatment,the scores of JOA and BI were increased in both groups,with significantly higher scores in the study group(P＜0.05).Conversely,the scores of ODI and TCM symptoms were decreased in both groups,with significantly lower scores in the study group(P＜0.05).Both groups demonstrated good safety,in which there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Lateral EA combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion can enhance the therapeutic efficacy in treatment of LDH,improve lumbar function and TCM symptom scores,and increase the patients' ability to perform their daily activities.The treatment is highly safe therapy.关键词
