循经铜砭刮痧治疗老年神经根型颈椎病的疗效分析
Efficacy Analysis of Meridian-Based Copper Scraping Therapy for Geriatric Cervical Radiculopathy

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of meridian-based copper scraping therapy in the treatment of cervical radiculopathy in the elderly.Method:Using a random number table,78 elderly patients with cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy admitted to Quanzhou Orthopedic Hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were divided into a study group(n=39,receiving meridian-based copper scraping therapy)and a conventional group(n=39,receiving massage therapy).Treatment lasted for one month.The effectivity rate,cervical spine range of motion,pain intensity,and quality of life were assessed through follow-up evaluations,and the effect of the two treatment methods on patients'cervical spine joint mobility was compared.Result:The conventional group's treatment efficacy rate was lower than that of the study group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After intervention,the activity of motion in the conventional group for left rotation,right rotation,left flexion,right flexion,anterior flexion,and posterior extension were lower than that in the study group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The pain level and quality of life in the study group were superior to those in the conventional group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:In treating cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy in the elderly,meridian-based copper cupping therapy significantly improves cervical mobility and alleviates pain.关键词
