Evaluation Elements of Therapeutic Efficacy of Chronic Heart Failure with Yang Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract
Objective To determine the efficacy evaluation elements of chronic heart failure with yang deficiency and blood stasis syndrome through literature analysis and Delphi method,and to provide a basis for the establishment of a combined disease-and-syndrome Chinese medicine efficacy evaluation scale.Methods A systematic search was conducted of literature on the treatment of chronic heart failure with yang deficiency and blood stasis syndrome using Chinese medicine from the CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,and SinoMed up to July 2023.Following terminology standardization and expert discussions,two rounds of the Delphi method were conducted.Subsequently,the positive coefficients and authoritative coefficients of the experts were analyzed,and the evaluation elements were further screened and evaluated based on the concentration and coordination of expert opinions.Results The literature analysis included 96 articles,extracting 49 entries comprising 34 symptoms/signs such as palpitations,edema,and cold limbs;9 tongue manifestations including dark purple tongue and ecchymoses/petechiae on the tongue;and 6 pulse manifestations such as deep pulse and thin pulse.Two rounds of Delphi method identified 11 symptoms/signs such as shortness of breath/asthma,palpitations,and fatigue;3 tongue manifestations such as swollen tongue and tongue with tooth marks;and 2 pulse manifestations such as slow pulse and deep pulse.Conclusions A total of 16 efficacy evaluation elements for yang deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in chronic heart failure were identified,providing a basis for the construction of the theoretical framework of the Chinese medicine efficacy evaluation scale for chronic heart failure.关键词
