Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of problem-based learning(PBL)health education combined with motivational interviewing in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 90 pregnant women with GDM treated in the outpatient department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Group Suqian Hospital from August 2022 to August 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,each comprising 45 cases.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received PBL health education combined with motivational interviewing on the basis of the nursing given to the control group.The blood glucose level,self-management ability,psychological resilience,adverse maternal outcomes,delivery mode,and adverse neonatal outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results After 8 weeks of intervention,the levels of 2-h postprandial blood glucose(2hPG)and fasting blood glucose(FPG)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the scores of the Self-Management Ability Questionnaire for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus(SMQGDM)and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed significant improvements in these indicators and scores relative to their pre-intervention levels(P<0.05).The incidence rates of adverse maternal outcomes,cesarean section,and adverse neonatal outcomes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of PBL health education combined with motivational interviewing can effectively improve the psychological resilience and self-management ability of pregnant women with GDM,improve their blood glucose level as well as adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes.关键词
