中老年食管癌根治术后针对性营养干预体系的建立与实践效果评价
Establishment of a targeted nutrition intervention system for middle-aged and elderly patients after radical resection of esophageal cancer and evaluation of its practical effect

Abstract
Objective To establish a targeted nutrition intervention system for the middle-aged and elderly patients after radical resection of esophageal cancer and to evaluate its practical effect.Methods A total of 144 middle-aged and elderly patients with esophageal cancer admitted to Gansu Wuwei Tumour Hospital from June 2022 to December 2023 were included and assigned into an observation group(n=72)and a control group(n=72)using a simple random sampling method.Both groups of patients underwent radical resection of esophageal cancer and received routine perioperative nursing.The observation group established and implemented a targeted nutrition intervention system after surgery.The changes of nutritional indicators,anthropometric measurements,and quality of life,as well as postoperative recovery time,and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results After 7 days of intervention,the observation group had higher levels of albumin,prealbumin,and hemoglobin than the control group(P<0.05).After 1 month of intervention,the observation group had better body mass index,triceps skinfold thickness,and mid-arm muscle circumference than the control group.Furthermore,the scores for all dimensions of the Functional Living Index-Cancer(FLIC)were better in the observation group than in the control group.Compared with pre-intervention levels,all indicators and scores of the two groups were improved(P<0.05).The time of first postoperative anal exhaust,defecation,eating and recovery of bowel sounds in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group,and the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The establishment and practice of targeted nutrition intervention system can help the middle-aged and elderly patients with esophageal cancer to improve their nutritional status and quality of life after surgery,promote postoperative recovery,and prevent complications.关键词
