Rapid Analysis of Chemical Constituents of Crataegi Fructus Based on DI-MS/MSALL

Abstract
Objective:To rapidly characterize the chemical constituents of Crataegi Fructus using direct infusion-tandem mass spectrometry with full scanning(DI-MS/MSALL).Methods:The extract of Crataegi Fructus was directly introduced into a quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometer(Q-TOF-MS)via the chromatogram-free direct infusion mode at a flow rate of 10 μL·min-1.Full-scan mass data were acquired in both positive and negative ion modes using MS/MSALL.An MS1-MS2 data list was constructed,and compounds were identified based on mass fragmentation patterns and relevant literature.Results:A total of 44 compounds were tentatively identified from the extract,including 15 organic acids,13 flavonoids,5 triterpenoids,9 amino acids,and 2 sugars.Conclusion:The DI-MS/MSALL enables rapid qualitative analysis of the chemical constituents in Crataegi Fructus,providing a valuable dataset for its further development and utilization.This technique integrates the high throughput advantages of DI-MS with the high resolution and strong specificity of Q-TOF-MS,offering an efficient tool for rapid compositional profiling of complex systems such as traditional Chinese medicines.关键词
