壮药救肤剂防治鼻咽癌患者急性放射性皮炎:一项随机对照试验
Zhuang Medicine Jiufuji for the Prevention and Treatment of Acute Radiation Dermatitis in Patients with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma:A Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Zhuang medicine Jiufuji in the prevention and treatment of acute radiation dermatitis(RD)in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods A total of 116 patients who were diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and received radiotherapy in the oncology department of Liuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2023 to May 2025 were selected.They were divided into the experimental group and the control group by random number table method,with 58 cases in each group.All patients received daily care of skin in the radiotherapy area.On the basis of routine nursing,the experimental group was evenly applied to Jiufuji on the irradiated field three times a day during radiotherapy,while the control group only received routine nursing.The intervention period started from the first day of radiotherapy and lasted until the 7th week.The severity distribution,the incidence rate,and the occurrence time of RD in both groups were recorded and analyzed,along with the total score of Skindex-16(assessed at the 10th,20th,and end of radiotherapy)and related adverse reactions(such as itching,burning,and pigmentation).Results The main results showed that the number of people with grade 1,grade 2,and grade 3 RD in the control group was 27 cases(46.55%),29 cases(50.00%),and 2 cases(3.45%),respectively,while those in the experimental group were 40 cases(68.97%),18 cases(31.03%),and 0 cases,respectively.The difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The occurrence time of RD in the experimental group was later than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The total score of Skindex-16 scale in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Secondary results showed that there were significant differences in pruritus and pigmentation between the two groups within 7 weeks by generalized estimating equation test(P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference in burning sensation(P＞0.05).Conclusion Jiufuji can reduce the severity of acute RD in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma receiving radiotherapy,delay the occurrence time of RD,improve the quality of life of patients,and reduce adverse reactions.关键词
