摘要

Abstract

The overall design of gate valve cover and support is an effective way to reduce the production cost of gate valve and improve the market competitiveness.However,due to the complex structure after the valve cover and support are connected,the casting is easy to deform,especially the flange deformation caused by the solidification shrinkage stress of the gating and feeding system,which brings certain production difficulties to precision casting manufacturers.After many tests,a kind of precision casting process scheme of a special gating and feeding system with U-shaped groove has been successfully developed,which can be used to effectively prevent the deformation problem caused by shrinkage during solidification process of casting.
