浙西徽语遂安方言中的将来时间副词"将"和"值会"
The Future Temporal Adverbs jiang and zhihui in the Sui'an Variety of Hui Dialect in Western Zhejiang

Abstract
Using a combined synchronic-diachronic approach,this paper investigates the future temporal adverbs jiang(将)and zhihui(值会)in the Sui'an variety of Hui dialect in western Zhejiang,focusing on their syntactic func-tions,semantic contrasts,and the lexicalization path of zhihui.It is found that jiang is a tense adverb that focuses on the objective certainty of a future event;it can be used for negation,imperatives,and causal clauses.By contrast,zhihui is a temporal-aspectual adverb that emphasizes imminent occurrence;it is restricted to declaratives and in-terrogatives,and allows predicate ellipsis.Semantically,jiang contains conditional associations and a speaker's counter-expectation,while zhihui emphasizes objective statements.Through research and analysis,it has been found that zhihui derives from the synonymous co-occurrence of zhi(值)and hui(会)in ancient Chinese,and was lexicalized via metaphorical mapping into a disyllabic adverb expressing futurity.The article not only deepens the understanding of the time system of Sui'an variety,but also provides empirical evidence for the typology and gram-maticalization theory of dialect adverbs,which has important value in dialectology and linguistics.关键词
