A Distributed Cooperative Navigation Method for Cluster Aircraft under Planar Formation Mission Configuration

Abstract
To address the degradation of cooperative localization accuracy in cluster aircraft distributed cooperative navigation under planar formation mission configurations caused by geometric dilution of precision(GDOP),a distributed cooperative navigation method suitable for planar formation tasks is proposed.The characteristics of the planar task configuration and the associated GDOP degradation problem are analyzed.By using the GDOP metric as a reference,a vector-offset optimization approach is introduced.The proposed method designs offset vectors for benchmark aircraft within the planar configuration to optimize the cooperative localization geometry without altering the actual flight positions.This enables high-precision localization under planar mission scenarios.Simulation results show that,compared with the cooperative localization algorithm based on time difference of arrival(TDOA)and frequency difference of arrival(FDOA)measurements without vector-offset optimization,the proposed method significantly improves the positioning accuracy under planar-array mission formations and enhances the stability of the cooperative solution.关键词
