Abstract
Pile cap structure is widely used in port engineering,and the wave impact on the structure is always been focused on.However,the existing researches mainly cover the formula derivation and numerical calculation,and are short of the data on the distribution pattern of wave-induced forces on pile cap structure.Thus Quanmei Petrochemical Wharf Project at Tsuen Wan harbor of Huizhou Port was selected to systematically investigate the distribution characteristics of wave force on pile caps and the influencing factors through 3D physical model tests,The results indicate that the maximum bottom pressure of each pile cap occurs while water level reaches 2.45 m under different wave directions.Wave slamming intensity is significantly influenced by wave parameters,water levels,the elevation and sizes of pile caps.These factors shall be fully considered in the design of pile caps to ensure a safe and stable structure.关键词
