Research progress of oligodendrocytes and α-synuclein in demyelinating diseases
摘要
Abstract
Demyelinating diseases are characterized by demyelination,accompanied by abnormal nerve conduction caused by neuronal and axonal injury.In the central nervous system,oligodendrocytes are responsible for myelin formation,and their dys-function is closely related to the pathological aggregation of α-synuclein.The soluble protein misfolds under pathological condi-tions,interferes with oligodendrocyte function through oligomerization deposition,and then causes demyelination and white matter damage.This article focuses on the molecular mechanism of α-synuclein misfolding and its pathological aggregation in oligodendro-cytes,and discusses the mechanism of the influence of related hypotheses on the occurrence and development of demyelinating dis-eases,in order to provide new intervention targets for clinical treatment.关键词
