Abstract
This paper aims to explore the inhibitory effect of sodium mercaptoacetate on chalcopyrite.The study involves analyzing the effect of sodium mercaptoacetate on the behavior of the molybdenite and chalcopyrite flotation through single mineral flotation tests;and studying the inhibition mechanism of sodi-um mercaptoacetate on chalcopyrite by means of Zeta potential and infrared spectroscopy.The results show that sodium mercaptoacetate has good selectivity in the flotation process and its inhibitory effect on chalcopyrite is significantly better than that on molybdenite.Sodium mercaptoacetate has a greater impact on the surface potential of chalcopyrite with electronegativity enhanced,while having little effect on the surface potential of molybdenite.Infrared spectroscopy analysis shows that the surface of chalcopyrite treated by sodium mercaptoacetate has hydrophilic functional groups,while there is no obvious change in the surface of molybdenite.Under the conditions of pulp pH 8 and the total dosage 1 275 g/t of sodium mercaptoacetate,the flotation enables the yield of molybdenum concentrate of 5.06%,grade of 55.89%,and recovery rate of 94.90%,the concentrate containing copper of 0.62%,and a recovery rate of 0.81%,showing the better separation effect of copper and molybdenum,which is consistent with the theoretical research results.关键词
