Impact of proppant characteristics on its erosion and settling model
摘要
Abstract
This paper attempts to address the unclear impact mechanism of the rosion on the proppant settling under unconventional fracturing,and proposes an analytical method based on multi-parameter coupling.The study involves establishing a dynamic coupling model for proppant settling velocity predic-tion considering hole diameter and friction by introducing key parameters including proppant shape factor and particle density.The results show that compared with the model without considering erosion,the set-tling velocity increases by 101%with the increase of the shape factor from 0.7 to 1.0;the settling veloci-ty increases by 344%with the increase of the particle density from 1.4 to 2.6 g/cm3;the settling veloci-ty decreases by 38%with the increase of the concentration from 70.4 to 211.2 kg/m3;and the settling velocity increases by 1.3%with the decrease of the pack porosity from 0.2 to 0.14,and the hole friction is significantly improved.The improved model can more accurately guide the post-pressure production prediction and proppant selection.关键词
