Research on Structure and Performance Optimization of Turbine Flowmeter Based on CFD Simulation and Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm

Abstract
Aim to optimize the structure and performance of TM80 turbine flowmeter using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation and multi-objective genetic algorithm is studied.Firstly,experimental tests are conducted to verify CFD numerical method,ensuring its accuracy and reliability in studying the structure and performance of flowmeter.Afterwards,CFD numerical method is applied to analyze flow characteristics in flowmeter,exploring optimization schemes for key components such as impeller,core support,and rear deflector.Finally,the performance of flowmeter is evaluated using CFD simulation and multi-objective genetic algorithm.The studies indicate that the optimized structures greatly reduce pressure loss,stabilize meter coefficient,and decrease linearity error.When the impeller blade cut angle parameter is 0.537,the core support slope is 14.263°,and the rear deflector diameter is 61.255 mm,the pressure loss is reduced by almost 53%,the meter coefficient becomes smaller and more constant,and the linearity error decreases by nearly 36%.The findings show that the optimized structure can significantly enhance the measurement performance of flowmeter.关键词
