Abstract
To evaluate the applicability of axial compressive bearing capacity calculation methods for conventional concrete-filled steel tube(CFST)short columns to steel tube recycled coarse aggregate concrete short columns,this study employs the bearing capacity formulas specified in CFST design codes from the United States,Japan,Europe,and China.Based on the calculation and analysis of 64 sets of axial compressive bearing capacity data for circular steel tube recycled concrete short columns reported domestically and internationally,the results indicate that the predictions given by the U.S.ANSI/AISC 360 code are overly conservative.The Japanese AIJ code provides predictions that are more reasonable than those of Eurocode 4,while China's GB/T 51446-2021 Technical Standard for Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Hybrid Structures yields more accurate predictions compared with other domestic codes.关键词
