Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion with autologous iliac bone graft for old thoracolumbar fracture.Methods The transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion with autologous iliac bone graft was used to treat 20 patients with old thoracolumbar fractures.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss and the occurrence of complications were recorded.The therapeutic effect was evaluated according to the pain VAS,the kyphotic Cobb angle and the ODI score.Results The operation time was 200～320(261.50±29.96)min,and the intraoperative blood loss was 290～400(348.50±28.52)ml.All patients were followed up for 4～36(14.85±8.61)months.One case of subcutaneous hematoma at the incision occurred after the operation.No complications such as abdominal pain,infection,nerve injury or failure of internal fixation occurred.The bone graft fusion time was 3～5(3.75±0.63)months.At various time-point after operation,the pain VAS,kyphotic Cobb angle and ODI score were improved than the preoperation(P<0.05).The pain VAS:At postoperative3 months and the last follow-up,it was decreased than the 3 d postoperation(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference at the other time-point(P>0.05);Kyphotic Cobb angle:At 3 d,1 month,3 months after the operation and the last follow-up,there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).ODI score:At the last follow-up,it was decreased than the 3 d postoperation(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference at the other time points(P>0.05).Conclusions Transforaminal lum-bar interbody fusion with autologous iliac bone graft for treatment of the old thoracolumbar fractures can relieve pain,improve kyphotic deformity and limbs function.关键词
