"双风筝"皮瓣在唇部皮肤缺损修复中的价值
The value of the"double kite"flap in the repair of skin defects on the lips

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application value of the"double-kite"flap for re-constructing lip skin defects.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 20 patients who underwent excision of benign lip tumors at the Dermatology Hospital of Southern Medical Universi-ty from June 2024 to January 2025.Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS)scores were used to evaluate scar outcomes at 6 months post-operation,while healing pattern,postoperative complications,aes-thetic matching,texture and function were also recorded.Results Ten patients(Group A)re-ceived reconstruction with the"double-kite"flap,and ten patients(Group B)underwent conven-tional tension-reducing suturing.The median VSS score in Group A was significantly lower than that in Group B[0.5(1.0)vs.4.0(2.0),U=6.0,P＜0.001].In Group A,9 patients a-chieved primary healing,and 1 had secondary healing with mild hypertrophic scarring.In Group B,9 patients achieved primary healing,and 1 developed infection-related secondary healing,with a higher incidence of widened or hypertrophic scars.Group A showed better aesthetic matc-hing,texture,and functional recovery than Group B.No severe complications occurred in either group.Conclusions The"double-kite"flap makes full use of the"cat-ear"tissue formed during excision,significantly reducing suture tension and improving the appearance and texture of the scar.It also provides reliable blood supply and fewer complications,making it a safe and effective option for repairing lip defects.关键词
