Multi-Dimensional Effects of Soybean-Corn Strip Intercropping Model on Crop Growth Dynamics and Yield Formation

Abstract
To explore the multi-dimensional effects of soybean and corn strip intercropping on crop growth dynamics and yield,and to provide a scientific basis for the promotion of soybean and corn strip intercropping technology,an experiment was conducted adopting a planting mode with a soybean and corn row ratio of 3:2 for intercropping.In comparison with the conventional monoculture mode,the multi-dimensional effects of intercropping on the agronomic traits,pests and diseases,soil fertility,biological communities,yield and benefits of corn and soybeans were analyzed.The results showed that the yield of corn in the intercropping model was 461.92 kg·667-1·m-2,which showed no significant difference compared with that in the moncropping model,and the soybean yield increased by 71.49 kg·667-1·m-2.It effectively enhanced the soil fertility,after intercropping the contents of total nitrogen,total phosphorus,total potassium and organic matter in the 0~20 cm soil layer increased by 4.57%,17.31%,5.88%and 9.47%,respectively,compared with before intercropping and those in the 20~40 cm soil layer increased by 14.40%,138.10%,15.60%and 25%,respectively.The pH value of the 0~20 cm soil layer decreased by 11.04%.After intercropping,the actinomycete count in the 0~20 cm soil layer decreased by 82.31%,and in the 20~40 cm soil layer,it decreased by 83.85%.The bacterial count in the 0~20 cm soil layer decreased by 47.67%,and that in the 20~40 cm layer decreased by 16.67%.The fungal count in the 0~20 cm soil layer increased by 50%,and that in the 20~40 cm layer increased by 52%.It is evident that the 3:2 soybean-corn strip intercropping model is highly suitable for promotion in Baise Municipality.关键词
