Abstract
Modern historical buildings are mostly constructed with masonry,brick-timber,or brick-stone-timber structures,with less frequent use of reinforced concrete structures.The main hall of the former Universal Benevolence Society site in Jinan is a reinforced concrete structure,which,due to construction conditions and design capabilities at the time,has more difficulty ensuring structural safety compared with other types of historical buildings.This paper discusses the characteristics of modern reinforced concrete buildings and the key points of their structural appraisal.Through on-site testing and structural modeling analysis of relevant parametes such as material strength,connection details,and durability,it identifies the structural load-bearing features and main existing problems of this type of building,providing a basis for subsequent restoration and protection.Furthermore,the paper discusses the testing and appraisal technologies as well as theoretical calculation methods applicable to modern reinforced concrete historical buildings,providing reference for the appraisal of similar engineering projects.关键词
