Abstract
Historic buildings,which possess significant tangible and cultural value,ought to be carefully preserved and protected.Addressing the conflict between urban renewal and the preservation of historic buildings,eliminating safety risks arising from lack of maintenance for long periods,and enhancing their safety performance are crucial tasks in the conservation of historic buildings.In the case of the Jiangjiazhuang Jade Emperor Temple in Jinan,where its original site conflicted with urban planning location,the approach of relocating the entire structure as a whole followed by restoration was adopted to safeguard this historic building.This study establishes a finite element analysis model to simulate the jacking-up and relocation processes,through which the load-bearing mechanisms of the structure was examined and vulnerable parts were identified.Following the relocation,restoration methods such as repair or replacement of the structural components were applied to address issues including the roof damage,decay and cracking of wooden elements,and wall modification.The findings provide a valuable reference for the preservation of historic buildings.关键词
