Abstract

To address the dual challenges of routine large-capacity operation and extreme disaster response at the Miyun Reservoir,a digital twin platform for the Miyun Reservoir was established.The platform focused on building an integrated monitoring and sensing system encompassing"Space-Sky-Ground-Hydrology-Engineering"forming a data foundation for the Miyun Reservoir at levels L1 to L3.An algorithm system comprising 30 models and a knowledge system consisting of 12 major categories and 34 subcategories were developed.Four major business systems—watershed,engineering,reservoir area,and security—were constructed.During the"25·7"regional flood in the Haihe River Basin,over 40 000 real-time monitoring data points were received daily,with a forecast relative error of only 5.8%for the peak inflow into the reservoir.The engineering safety model enabled minute-level dynamic assessment.The research results confirm the practical value of digital twin technology and provide a replicable technical paradigm for the construction and intelligent management of digital twins for large and medium-sized reservoirs.
