The Revolutionary Historical Value and Historical Memory Construction of Xuzhou's Red Inscription Documents

Abstract
As a crucial strategic region in China's revolutionary history,Xuzhou preserves a vast collection of red inscription documents.These inscriptions serve as material carriers of revolutionary history,providing vital testimony for the reconstruction of local revolutionary narratives and the interpretation of revolutionary culture.These inscriptions are abundant and distinctive,serving as a'living map'of the region's revolutionary history.Through'heroic narratives','visual narratives',and'polyphonic narratives',these inscriptions embody the revolutionary cultural traits of Xuzhou:'pioneering spirit','fearlessness in sacrifice',and'unity between the military and civilians'.They function as material anchors for constructing a regional revolutionary cultural identity and perpetuating the revolutionary spirit.As'tangible memory carriers',these inscriptions facilitate the intergenerational transmission of revolutionary memory through commemorative activities in public spaces and the spatial arrangement of landscape narratives.The revolutionary memories and spiritual values embodied in Xuzhou's red inscriptions constitute local cultural markers and a shared national spiritual treasure.Collaborative efforts between the government,society and academia should be leveraged to conduct in-depth research guided by the principles of'preservation as a prerequisite,research as a foundation and innovation as a driving force'.关键词
