The"Steep"Narrative in Wang Jibing's Poetry Themes
摘要
Abstract
The'migrant worker poetry'movement that emerged in the 1990s centered on the core thematic feature of'narratives of suffering'.However,'delivery poet'Wang Jibing broke away from this tradition by employing a'steep narrative'strategy,opening up new dimensions for migrant worker poetry.This strategy unfolds through three thematic dimensions:conveying a magnanimous mindset by downplaying suffering and highlighting life's resilience amidst hardship;asserting selfhood through verse to resist the erasure of migrant workers'individual identities;and capturing urban warmth to heal the spiritual melancholy brought about by rural transformation.This narrative strategy enables Wang Jibing to traverse life's'slope'amid the confrontation between reality and spirit,constructing a rich inner world.His work offers contemporary poetry fresh perspectives and themes,and illuminates the evolving spirit of migrant workers in the new era,holding significant practical implications.关键词
