Abstract
With the rapid advancement of algorithmic technologies and continuous infrastructure improvements such as 5 G networks,artificial intelligence has gradually matured and entered a new phase of large-scale application.As a major achievement in AI technology,autonomous vehicles have achieved a high level of driving automation,yet they remain,in essence,tools that lack the core attributes required to constitute independent legal subjects.The widespread adoption of autonomous driving technology has also created challenges in clearly defining subjects of tort liability and applying existing principles of fault attribution.Through an in-depth analysis of domestic and international legislation concerning autonomous vehicles,this paper proposes a series of measures worthy of consideration in China.These include establishing a system for collecting vehicle operation data,refining the categorization of producers under product liability law,redefining the grounds for producer exemptions,applying presumed causation and reversed burden of proof in product liability cases,introducing a vehicle owner registration system,and implementing mandatory insurance requirements.关键词
