A Cross-tempo-spatial Dialogue between the Concept of"Hidden Treachery in Solitary Places"and"Narrative Differentiation Thinking"in the Context of Narrative Medicine

Abstract
"Hidden Treachery in Solitary Places"is Zhang Jingyue's(张景岳)summary of the essence of clinical pattern differentiation in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).This paper takes"Hidden Treachery in Solitary Places"as its starting point and systematically explains its commonality in underlying logic and methodology with narrative medicine's"close reading"and"narrative inferencing"in purpose of cultivating modern physicians'"narrative differentiation thinking"and enhancing their professional qualities in detecting"solitary evidence"and"treachery".Furthermore,by demonstrating clinical case analysis and diagnosis-treatment model construction for the three different types of diseases:rare diseases,chronic diseases,and medically unexplained symptoms(MUS),the paper illustrates the value of this integrated paradigm in improving diagnostic accuracy,deepening humanistic care and optimizing disciplinary structure,aiming at laying the foundation for the establishment of narrative Chinese medicine as an emerging multi-disciplinary paradigm,and providing an innovative path for the modernization and internationalization of TCM.关键词
