Study on the Block-printing and Circulation of Xin Diao Sun Zhen Ren Qian Jin Fang Stored in Japan

Abstract
There are many existing versions of Qian Jin Fang(《千金方》Important Formulas Worth a Thousand Gold Pieces)written by Sun Simiao(孙思邈)in the early Tang Dynasty,which can be roughly divided into the version not revised by officials of the Song Dynasty and the version revised by officials of the Song Dynasty.The twenty-volume Northern Song Dynasty version of Xin Diao Sun Zhen Ren Qian Jin Fang(《新雕孙真人千金方》Newly Carved Important Formulas Worth a Thousand Gold Pieces by Perfected Person Sun)stored in Japan is an important version not revised by officials of the Song Dynasty.The Dao Zang(《道藏》The Daoist Canon)edition of Qian Jin Fang existed during the Northern Song Dynasty,so that Xin Diao Sun Zhen Ren Qian Jin Fang may be the reprinting of the old Daoist carving copy of Qian Jin Fang during the period of Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty,and the remaining sheets of Sun Zhen Ren Qian Jin Fang(《孙真人千金方》Important Formulas Worth a Thousand Gold Pieces by Perfected Person Sun)unearthed in Heishui city(黑水城)belong to its revised and published version.The paper also provides a detailed account of the journal of Xin Diao Sun Zhen Ren Qian Jin Fang stored in Japan,based on the seals and annotations in the book,detailing its various ownership changes and its eventual acquisition by the Seikado Bunko in Japan.The block-printing and circulation of Xin Diao Sun Zhen Ren Qian Jin Fang stored in Japanese collections provides key clues for studying the original appearance of Sun Simiao's Qian Jin Fang,and provides important reference for how the Northern Song Dynasty's Medical Book Bureau revised medical books.关键词
