Application of Ultrasound-Guided Ropivacaine Axillary Brachial Plexus Block Using Two-Point Injection in Forearm Surgery

Abstract
Objective To explore the application value of ultrasound-guided ropivacaine axillary brachial plexus block using two-point injection in forearm surgery.Methods 80 patients who underwent upper limb surgery from January 2022 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into control group and study group using a random number table method.Both groups received ultrasound-guided ropivacaine axillary brachial plexus block,while the control group received single point injection and the study group received two-point injection.The blockade related time,muscle skin nerve,median nerve,radial nerve blockade,and pain score were compared between two groups.Results The onset and improvement time of the blockade in the study group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The sensory blockade rate of the muscle skin nerve in the study group at T1 and T2 was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The motor block rate of the median nerve at T3 and T4 in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The sensory block rates of the radial nerve at T2 and T3,as well as the motor block rate from T1 to T3,in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group at 2 h,4 h after surgery(P<0.05).Conclusions Ultrasound-guided ropivacaine axillary brachial plexus block using two-point injection can quickly exert the blocking effect on forearm surgery patients,with good blocking effect on forearm nerves and better control of early postoperative pain.关键词
