Abstract

The Yaoying graphite deposit in Ji'an City,Jilin Province,is located in the third member of the Huangchagou Group(Pt1h3)of the Ji'an Rock Series.It is generally distributed in a pseudo-layered and lens-shaped pattern.The ore bodies are controlled by a syncline structure,with symmetrical distribution on both wings near the core.The deposit is of medium size,and the natural type of ore is graphite amphibole granulite,with good ore quality.The genesis type is a regional metamorphic deposit.Stratigraphic control is the core ore-controlling factor in the study area,and regional metamorphism is the main ore-controlling factor.Fold structures have influenced the distribution pattern of the ore body.The Paleoproterozoic plagioclase granite(γοPt1)has strengthened the migmatization in the study area.Through a systematic analysis of the geological characteristics,geological background,genesis and ore-controlling factors of the Yaoying graphite deposit,a genesis model of the deposit has been constructed.The research results provide theoretical support for the exploration of crystalline graphite in this area.
